Rollen Eugene Merilic's Obituary
Rollen E. Merilic, 68, of Fredericksburg, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 19, 2011.
Rollen was a painter by trade for over 40 years. He served in the US Army for several years and was an avid Redskins fan.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Elizabeth Walter- Merilic; three sons, Jeffery Merilic and his wife Wendy, and Tyrone Merilic all of Independence, VA and Walter Merilic and his wife Elizabeth of Fredericksburg. Rollen is also survivied by his sister, Thelma Jo Wright and her husband Roy of Fredericksburg; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rollen was preceded in death by his mother, Thula Martin and his sister, Phyllis Luck.
Rollen’s family will receive friends Tuesday, February 22, from 6-8 pm. at Found and Sons Fuenral Chapels – Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Rd., Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home chapel Wednesday, February, 23 at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors.
