Roger Lee Rutherford's Obituary
Roger Lee Rutherford, 58, of Sperryville, died Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born on May 5, 1950 in Sperryville to the late Charles William Rutherford and Mamie Susan Jenkins Rutherford.
He loved Gospel Music and played in his own band
He is Survived by 3 brothers James William Rutherford of Castleton, Robert Jackson Rutherford of Reva and Marshall Rutherford, Sr. of Winchester.
Additional survivors are numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend Richard (Buddy) and Shirley Brown and their granddaughter Shadow
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Elmer Peyton Rutherford and sister Ethel Mamie Rutherford Jenkins.
The Family will receive friends on Thursday May 29, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 11a.m. in the Found and Sons Chapel with Rev. Bobby Jenkins officiating.
Interment will follow at Sperryville Cemetery.
