Roger Lee Kennedy's Obituary
Roger Lee Kennedy, 56 of Culpeper died Saturday March 28, 2009 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born May 16, 1952 in Culpeper County to Mable Soutter Kennedy and the late Robert Marshall Kennedy.
Mr Kennedy was a member of the Moose Lodge 1348 of Culpeper, he loved horseshoes, playing cards and playing the guitar. Roger won trophies in truck pulling and was a sponsor of many softball teams.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Emily (Edwards) Kennedy, his sons Dale Kennedy, David Kennedy and his wife Jennifer, a step daughter Wanda Jenkins and her husband Wayne. Additional survivors are his brother Wayne Kennedy, 2 sisters Ann Walker and Peggy Sue Moore, 7 grandchildren Will and Harley Brill, Garrett and Cameryn Kennedy, Shamley and Brantley Kennedy, Jonathan Jenkins, one great grand child Kamryn Jenkins, a niece JoAnn Pullen, nephews Kent and Robert Pullen
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Marshall Kennedy and niece Amy Sue Yancey
The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 31, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral chapel 850 Sperryville Pike Culpeper
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Cary Lane officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper
Pallbearers will be Robert Addison, Buddy Whitmer, Jeff Bigelow, Mike Mozingo, Tom McDaniel and Monte Warner
