Robin "Sam" Ann Williams' Obituary
Robin Ann “Sam” Williams, 54, of Aroda died on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. She was born April 1, 1960 in Washington DC to Jeanne Shackelford Windsor and the late Fred Windsor.
Sam was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed flowers and nature but most of all she loved and cherished her grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted partner, Douglas King; one son, Jeffrey Williams and his wife, Jill of Virginia Beach, VA; two siblings, Sharon Ciomei and her husband, Don of Stockbridge, GA and Jean McGee and her late husband, Mark of Springfield, OH; and three grandchildren, Benjamin and Brandon Williams, both of Virginia Beach, VA and Connor Sloan of Corydon, IN.
Additional survivors include her nieces and nephews, Lisa Hessler and her husband, Paul, Matt, Chris and Nick Hessler, Steven Ciomei and Sarah Gentry and her husband, Alan; and her dog whom she loved greatly, Sheba.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper VA.
The family will have a private inurnment at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to your local animal shelter or humane society.
