Robin Arleen Gray's Obituary
Robin Arleen Gray, 55, of Fredericksburg passed away Monday, August 24, 2015 at Virginia Hospital Center of Arlington.
Robin was the founder of the National Cemetery Luminaria Project. She worked for the US Marine Corps in Quantico as a clerk at the Deers I.D. card center.
Robin was a member of the Women of the Moose Fredericksburg Lodge; C.O.R. for the Boy Scout Troop 1777; and scouted in the district level; and was a certified NRA handgun instructor.
Robin is survived by her husband of 37 years, Melvin Walter Gray, Jr.; son, Melvin Gray, III; and daughter, Patricia Gray, both of the home; and her best friend, Dianna Harrington of Fredericksburg.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, Robin’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Mooseheart Child City & School or Moosehaven City of Contentment Charities at moosecharities.org or to J.D.R.F. at jdrf.org.
