Robert Lee Turman
Robert Lee Turman, 68, of Sperryville died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Fauquier Hospital. He was born October 21, 1941 in Willis, VA to the late Glen H. and Rosie Howell Turman.
Mr. Turman had a passion for farming and was a talented machinist. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Dana (De Shazo) Turman, two children, Marnie Lea Turman and Travis Sean Turman, one sister, Nancy Turman Cannaday and one brother, Joe Davis Turman. Additional survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Alton Glen Turman and Buddy Richard Turman.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jon Heddleston.
Interment will follow in Culpeper National Cemetery (New) with military honors provided by American Legion Post #330 and V.F.W. Post #2524.
