Robert Lee Butler, Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Lee Butler, Sr. 75, of Culpeper died Sunday, May 6, 2007 at his residence. He was born January 19, 1932 to the late James Phillip Butler, Sr. and Elizabeth Brown Butler.
He is survived by his former wife, Bess Butler Hilton, his children, Robert L. Butler, Jr. and his wife, Lori of Culpeper, James B. Butler of Culpeper, and Loretta Lynn Golon and her husband, Edward of Roanoke, two sisters, Maude Settle of Culpeper, and Lillie Mae Lookabill of Baltimore, MD, and one aunt, Ruby Diffandale of Hagerstown, MD.
Additional survivors include four grandchildren, Jason L. Butler, Samantha Butler, Lauren Butler, and Devin Golon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Culpeper National Cemetery with military honors provided by American Legion Post #330 and VFW Post #2524.
