Robert L. Green's Obituary
Robert Lawton Green, 76, quietly slipped into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, October 29, 2006. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his late wife, Mary Maude Poles Green, two brothers, Darlington Greene and Bonnie Greene, both of Forest City, North Carolina.
Robert Lawton Green was born December 5, 1929 in Rutherford, North Carolina to the late Robert Green and Ossie Mosely Green.
Robert is survived by his two daughters, Annie Sue Mosley of Forest City, North Carolina, Barbara Ann Green Pollard and son-in-law, Eric Lydell Pollard, their children, Latitia Jantease Green of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tiahza Lioneil Green, Sheena Allen Mae Green, Tychenica Yolonda Bouidikidilis Green and Erika Khedija Jasmine Pollard all of Culpeper, Virginia.
He is also survived by two brothers, Bobby Greene of Charlotte, North Carolina, Jerry Greene and his wife, Agnes of Rock Hill, South Carolina, four sisters, Verice Vickers of Forest City, North Carolina, Olivia McMullen and her husband, Melvin of Charlotte, North Carolina, Martha Crawford and her husband, Earl of Charlotte, North Carolina and Geraldine Goins and her husband, Martin of Southern Pines, North Carolina.
Other survivors include three additional grandchildren and four great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A graveside inurnment will follow on Friday, November 3, 2006 at 3 p.m. in Doggett Grove Cemetery in Forest City, North Carolina.
