Robert C. Jenkins, Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Clinton Jenkins, Sr., age 72, of New Market died Friday June 19, 2009 at Life Care of New Market . He was born September 19. 1936, in Elkwood Va, to the late Clinton and Nora Jenkins.
He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his wife Norma Ann Jenkins, his children Robert Jenkins, Jr., William Jenkins and his wife Nancey of Timberville, Glema Rexrode of New Market and a step son Donald Monroe of Rineyville, KY.
Additional survivors include 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers George Jenkins, Charles Jenkins and a sister Jean Menefee and step son David Monroe.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 24, 2009 from 6 to 8pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday June 25, 2009 at 11am at Found and Sons Chapel with Rev Jon Heddleston officiating.
Interment will follow in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Fellowship will follow at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville
Pallbearers will be William Jenkins, Larry Jenkins, Donald Jenkins, Pete Jenkins, Paul Jenkins and Clyde Ottey.
