Roberta "Robin" A. Pauley's Obituary
Roberta "Robin" A. Pauley, aged 81, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, at UVA Hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Prince William County, June 25, 1943, to the late Roberta V. Larkin and Lucien A. Larkin, Robin embraced life with an unyielding spirit of love, generosity, and faith.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents, Roberta and Lucien, and siblings William, Lucien, Sally, Henry, and James. She is survived by her loving husband, Billy Joe Pauley, and children Connie (Terry), Vickie (Joe), Tammy, Buddy, Virgie (Scott), Teresa (James & family), David (and family), and Jeff (and family). She was the cherished grandmother of Joshua, LeAnne, Ryan, Adam, John, Trevor, and CJ, and the loving sister of Teresa, Lucy, Libby, Frances, Susie, Marguerite, Johnny, Bobby, and George. Robin also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren, treasuring the joy and liveliness they brought into her life.
Robin's professional journey was as diverse as it was rewarding. She started as an employee and manager of Highs in Marshall and Warrenton, VA. Later, she began her journey into learning the fencing business and working for Eastern Fence Company. Her creativity shone through as a bridal consultant at Leggett's in Manassas, VA, which led to her opening her own bridal business, Alpha and Omega, in Gainesville, VA, and opening Safeguard Fence with her husband Bill, in Marshall, VA. She poured her love and dedication into her work and the people around her.
Robin was not just a successful businesswoman, but also an ordained minister. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she was known as a devout worshipper and a godly woman. Robin's generosity knew no bounds; she was known for her giving nature and loving heart. She was a woman who knew no stranger, touching countless lives with her warmth and kindness. She spent many years being a caregiver and counselor to many neighbors, friends, and family members. Her love had no boundaries; clear up through her final days, she spent caring for and counseling her friends at Culpeper Health and Rehab.
A service in honor of Robin's life will be held on August 11th at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels Cremation Service, located at 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701. The family and friends gathering will commence at 3 pm, followed by the service at 4 pm.

Robin's life was a testament to love, faith, and service, and her contributions to these causes will honor her memory and embody her spirit.
