Robert Clifton Wolfe's Obituary
Robert Clifton Wolfe, 62, of Culpeper, VA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born on March 1, 1963, to the late Roy Clifton Wolfe and Joan Payne Goodnight in Loudoun County, VA.
Robert was a devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather. A lifelong musician, he was highly respected in the local music community and known for his talent, passion, and humble spirit. He played bass and sang in several groups throughout the years, touching countless lives through his music. Robert also recorded music in Nashville and proudly achieved one of his lifelong dreams—performing at the legendary Bluebird Café.
Alongside his musical accomplishments, Robert built a long and successful career in automotive parts management, working for several well-known dealerships throughout the region, including more than 20 years at Joe Jacoby CPJE. Of all his achievements, his greatest joy was his family; he took immense pride in his children and cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lisa Brewer Wolfe; his children, Angela Davis (Curtis) and Zachary Wolfe (Cyndi); and his grandchildren, Ryan Wolfe and Whitley Davis. He is also survived by his siblings, Wanda Grundy, Joseph Wolfe (Barbara), Cynthia Wolfe (Jay), and Tony Claus; his sisters-in-law, Linda Lowery, Tina Garrison (Jerry); his brother-in-law, John David Brewer; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Jacqueline Brewer; father-in-law, Donald Brewer; and his brother-in-law, David Brewer.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor John Kovakas officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12 p.m.
Interment will follow at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery, 23557 Lignum Road, Lignum, VA.
Pallbearers honoring Robert will be Zachary Wolfe, Ryan Wolfe, Curtis Davis, Tony Claus, Devin Yankey, Taylor Huff, Ronnie Wolford, Brent Wolford, and Charlie Fultz.
