Robert Mathew Schiltz's Obituary
Robert Mathew Schiltz, 97, of Culpeper died Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at his home. He was born October 24, 1920 to the late Henry Schiltz and Verna Miller Schiltz.
Prior to his retirement, Robert was a plant manager at U.S. Diamond Wheel Company, later part of Federal Mogul. Robert served his country in the Army in World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Lillian Schiltz; daughter Kathleen Dale and her husband Samuel; grandchildren Kevin Dale, Darren Dale and his wife Connie; and two great grandchildren, Robbie and Evie.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 14 2018 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
A Funeral Mass will also be held Monday, May 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 114 E. Edmondson Street, Culpeper, VA.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 822 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
