Robert Bernard Porter Jr.'s Obituary
Robert Bernard Porter, Jr. "Bobby", 47, of Stafford County passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
Robert was active with the Falmouth Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He liked being outdoors especially relic hunting.
Robert is survived by his two daughters, Jessica and Kelsey Porter of Stafford; step-daughter, Taylor Truslow; two sisters, Jamie Hallows (Kirk) of Spotsylvania County and Teresa Lutz (David) of Florida; numerous aunts and uncles; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Audrey and Robert Porter, Sr.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 in Oak Hill Cemetery in Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, Robert’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Micah Ministries, P.O. Box 3277, Fredericksburg, VA 22402.
