Robert Hugh Perry's Obituary
We celebrate the life of Robert Hugh Perry, 70, of Azle, Texas, as he passed away peacefully and quietly with his eldest son, Curtis Wright by his side at the Woodmont Center in Fredericksburg, VA on June 10, 2022.
Robert was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan, enjoyed doing his craft, model cars, all things Elvis and devoted his heart and love to all his grandchildren.
Robert served for 15 years in the United States Army as both a Cook and Baker. He took pride in his baking skills so much that he continued baking even after retiring. He created beautiful cakes and other baked goods for family, friends, and special events.
Robert is survived by his two sons, Curtis Wright from Manassas, VA, and Mark Wright from Carlsbad, CA; daughter, Lisa Brushe from Graham, WA; his two brothers, Raymond Perry and Richard Perry from Azle, TX; two grandsons, Andrew Barclay from Graham, WA and Zack Barclay from Leesburg, FL; three granddaughters, Shelly Wright of Glenolden, PA, Sharon Kapusta of Clearwater, FL and Raven Vento from Yelm, WA; and four great-grandchildren, Jaxson Kapusta, Aubrey and Taelyn Dolce from Clearwater, FL and Araya Vento from Yelm, WA.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Carmelita (Let) (San Luis) Perry and his parents, Joseph Perry and Irene (Miller) Perry.
Robert’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery, where Robert will be laid to rest with his beloved wife.
