Robert Paul Parker's Obituary
Robert Paul Parker, 63, of Culpeper died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born July 1, 1947 in Syracuse, NY to the late Paul Joseph and Ester Harris Parker.
Mr. Parker was a very simple, humble man who loved the Lord and his family. He was a diehard Redskins fan, coached kids in little league sports, and worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency for over 30 years. Above all, he cherished his family and the time spent with them.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diane L. Parker, three children, Robert Parker and his wife, Michelle of Stafford, Michael Parker and his wife, Lauren of Locust Grove and Jeffrey Parker of Culpeper, one brother, Richard Parker of Utica, NY, and one sister, Beverly St. Angelo of Syracuse, NY.
Additional survivors include six grandchildren, Brittany Parker, Samantha Parker, Brandon Parker, Alexa Parker, Jake Parker and Lukas Parker.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the charity of your choice.
