Robert "Johnny" John Miller's Obituary
Robert “Johnny” John Miller, 61, of Culpeper went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at his residence. He was born August 30, 1950 in Arlington, VA to the late George Vernon and Martha Ellen Chapman Miller.
Mr. Miller was a self employed Class A contractor in Northern Virginia and the surrounding counties. He used his talent of building to help build for Habitat for Humanity, his family members and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Miller faithfully attended Spotsylvania Church of God and was a family man who loved and cherished his family.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, LaDonna Sue Miller, three children, Noel Brooks and her husband, Mark of Locust Grove, Robbie Miller and his wife, Christy of Culpeper and Stevie Miller and his wife, Jennifer of Rhoadesville, and four grandchildren, Krysta, Zachary, Sierra and Alyssa.
Additional survivors include five siblings, George Miller, Jr. of Lignum, Teddy Miller of Culpeper, Ann Spickler of Lantana, FL, Pee Wee Stenger of Carlisle, PA and Donna Cadoret of Mechanicsburg, PA as well as a host of other family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Mary Wolfrey, Gene Miller, Ronnie Miller and Patty Long.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 8, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Bishop David Price officiating.
Interment will follow in the Haught Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roy Reed, Joshua Haught, Mark Bowers, Buck Shackleford, Sean Somerville and Wayne Twomey.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Orange County Habitat for Humanity, P.O. Box 65, Orange, VA 22960.
