Robert "Bobby" Lee Turner's Obituary
Robert “Bobby” Lee Turner, 70, of Rixeyville passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 3, 1944 in Remington to the late Susie Jane Turner.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Lee Compton Turner; three children, Suzette Lee Turner of Rixeyville, Robert “Bo” Lee Turner, II of Rixeyville and Sylvana Lee Turner of Culpeper; one brother, David Junior Cockrill and his wife, Sharon of Culpeper; and one sister, Brenda Lee Horn and her husband, James of Deltona, FL.
Additional survivors include five grandchildren, Drake Thomas Gardner, Dylan Lee Turner-Frye, both of Rixeyville, Ethan Favela Turner, Carmen G. Turner and Markus Turner, all of Culpeper.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepfather whom he considered his father, Raymond O. Cockrill; and one sister, Nella Hartman.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. L.D. Savage officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Henry Rollings, Aubrey Rozell, Billy Hartman, Tony Fincham, Bryan Raub, Robert Fincham, J.B. Fincham and Tim Darrow. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Compton and Joseph Colvin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, c/o Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA 22701.
