Robert Jeffries' Obituary
Robert Lee Jeffries, 77, of Fredericksburg passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Mary Washington Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Hazel V. Jeffries and his parents Joseph and Helen Jeffries.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Gray of Madison and Joyce Carter and her husband, Jimmy of Fredericksburg; two sons, Frank Jeffries and his wife, Linda of Fredericksburg and Wayne Jeffries and his wife, Cathy of Madison; two sisters, Lucille Gray and her husband, Harry of Roundhill and Annie Wiltshire and her husband, Tim of Orange; ten grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and his dear friend, Jack Bland.
Robert’s family will receive friends Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service celebrating Robert’s life will be held Friday, October 23, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the funeral chapel with Pastor Tony Benson officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Brian Griffith, Randy Gray, Chris Gray, Richie Blasko, David Jeffries, Danny Jeffries, Jarrod Snyder, and James Jenkins.
