Robert Wayne Hamm's Obituary
Robert Wayne Hamm, 70, of Culpeper, died Monday, July 24, 2023 at his home. He was born December 29, 1952 in Culpeper, to the late Hazel Frances and Delma Joseph Hamm, Sr.
Robert retired from VDOT as a Foreman, after 30 years of service. He loved being with Maddie, his loyal, 15-year-old Jack Russell. Second in his heart to Maddie, were his cars. He also loved camping and spending time with his family.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Jo Watson; two grandchildren, Jonathan Michael Haught and Skyler Dawn Haught; one sister, Virginia Hamm Fincham (Ray); two brothers, James Hamm (Lecial) and Delma Joseph Hamm, Jr. (Sally); and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Frances Dodson; and one brother, Ronnie Hamm.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Pastor Bruce Fincham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sumerduck Baptist Church Cemetery, 5354 Sumerduck Rd, Sumerduck, VA. A reception will be held immediately after at Sumerduck Baptist Church.
