Robert Forrest Dishman Sr.'s Obituary
Robert Forrest Dishman Sr., 73, of Spotsylvania County, VA, and owner of H&B Gas Service passed away Monday, January 20, 2025 at NOVA Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church VA.
Born December 14, 1951, in Fredericksburg, VA, Bob was the son of Robert Henry Dishman and Mattie Virginia Payne.
Bob was previously employed by one of the local gas companies, and then went on to own and operate his own business of H&B GAS SERVICE, LLC. He loved going out fishing and catching his catfish and sharing with others.
Bob will be remembered by his wife of 14 years, Evelyn B. Dishman; his son, Robert F. Dishman, Jr.; and a sister, Gloria Jean Rider, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen A. Dishman; brother, Gary Dishman; and two sisters, Barbara Platz, and Jackie Shook.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2025 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to St. Jude’s Hospital.
