Robert Anthony Dillon's Obituary
Robert Anthony Dillon, 61, of Culpeper departed this earthly life on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 11, 1954 in Alexandra to Virginia Maley Dillon and the late Kenneth Barker Dillon, Sr.
Robert had been a Culpeper Fixture for 46 years. His passion was lawn care and small engine repair and even more so he was a faithful caregiver and chauffer for many seniors who just needed someone to assist with running errands or simply to drop by for a visit. He greatly enjoyed fast cars, was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan, had a passion for country music and appreciated the simplicity of sitting watching television with his mother.
In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by his siblings; Kenneth Dillon, Jr. and his companion Becky Burke, Margaret Pelkey and her husband Allen, Catherine Deane and her husband, Greg, and David Dillon, all of Culpeper; 11 nieces and nephews; and 20 great nieces and nephews as well as numerous cousins, extended family and special friends.
Robert joins in paradise his brother, Frank Dillon and his sister Mary Coffey.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11 am at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Pastor Sandy Martin officiating.
The family will receive friends on hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
