Robert James Franklin Cropp's Obituary
Robert James Franklin Cropp, 71, of Culpeper died Monday, June 19, 2017 at Novant Health UVA Health System Culpeper Medical Center. He was born March 1, 1946 in Warrenton to the late Benjamin and Lucille Pollard Cropp.
Mr. Cropp was a member of St. James Baptist Church. He was known as a man that always spoke what was on his mind, and was known as a loving, caring gentle giant.
He is survived by five stepdaughters; three siblings, Benjamin Cropp and his wife, Maude, Eugene Cropp, and Nona Grayson; sister-in-law, Alma Cropp; and a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, LeRoy Cropp and Rev. Willie Cropp, Sr.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 12 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA with Rev. Wesley Cropp officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Arrangements were done in accordance to Bobby Cropp’s exact wishes.
