Robert Marshall Burke's Obituary
Robert Marshall Burke, 82, of Woodville died on Monday, June 28, 2010 at Autumn Care of Madison Rehabilitation. He was born on October 1, 1927 in Rappahannock County to the late Walter Marshall and Bertha Nethers Burke.
Mr. Burke was a member of Five Forks Regular Baptist Church. He enjoyed farming and worked over forty years for the Shade Farm in Woodville.
He is survived by his son, Jerry Burke, one brother, Richard Wallace Burke and one nephew, Richard W. Burke II all of Woodville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Geneva Frances Burke.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Sperryville Cemetery with Rev. Roger Smith officiating.
