My husband Clay and I worked with Robert on a couple houses. He was always joking around and always had a smile on his face. He and Clay like to get a rise out of each other. He was a nice guy, and would do anything for you. Back in the winter of this year, 2018, I was pushing ice off a deck with a pink broom that I bought to use on the job site, and I broke it, so I went to Robert asking for a piece of wood to patch it together. He stopped what he was doing and spent about 30 mins mending my broom, I am sure he had a lot of other things to do, but he took time to fix it for me because he knew I was bummed out about it. I thought that was sweet. He reminded me of my own brother, who passed away a few years back. He also fixed out kerosene heater that we used on the
job site and wouldn't take any money for it either, he just wanted to help out a friend. There are not many people like that anymore in this world. The job site seems so sad to me now, as I look around and see all the work that you done. Rest in peace Robert, you are truly missed!
