To the Family of Robert "Bobby "Jenkins
My wife and I are so sorry to learn of the passing of Coach Jenkins. I had the privilege of meeting Coach Jenkins while coaching the Fredericksburg Falcons Semi-pro football team. Coach Jenkins immediately made an impact on me and welcomed our team to play home games at his school facility. He later hired me on as an assistant coach the last year he was at Caroline High School, where I really saw the passion and love he had for that community and all of those kids under his tutelage. He was a large man, but his caring heart and wisdom were so much larger that his physical being. I know that this is a huge loss to his family, but please know it is a great loss to this community as well. As the old saying goes, "They Don't Make Them Like That Anymore". Please know that Coach Robert "Bobby" Jenkins was a blessing to a huge amount of people, and I am proud to have been one of those people. May God Bless the family and may he rest in peace.
