Robert Alexander Atchison's Obituary
Robert A. Atchison, 97, of Spotsylvania County, VA, passed away Wednesday, April 17,2024.
He was born August 19,1926 in Spotsylvania, to the late Clarence and Ola Atchison. He was a WWII Army veteran and worked at the FMC plant in Fredericksburg, VA for 30 years.
Robert is survived by his wife of 74 years, Evelyn; one daughter, Janice Thomas (Lee); one son, Dennis Atchison (Juanita); two grandsons, Michael Thomas and Robbie Atchison; six great- grandchildren, Kane, Lito, and Gianna Thomas, and Connor, Cameran, and Lainey Atchison; and one brother, Roger Atchison (Debbie).
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert and James Atchison; and one sister, Clara Mae Grooms.
Robert enjoyed the outside gardening and watching the birds and squirrels, he also enjoyed watching the Nationals and Gunsmoke.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024 at Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery.
