Robert "Bobby" Allen's Obituary
Robert “Bobby” B. Allen, 54, of Culpeper, died Monday, August 20, 2012 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Bobby was born on June 13, 1958 at Georgetown University, in Washington D.C. to the late John E. Allen and Mrs. Shirlee Martin.
Bobby was a vivid Redskins fan and avid golfer. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting.
Bobby is survived by his five children; Robert B. Allen, Jr. and his wife Heidi, Ryan A. Allen, Julia Allen Hume and her husband Chris, Brett B. Allen and Blair M. Allen all of Culpeper and one dear grandchild Layla B. Hume.
Bobby is also survived by his siblings Danny Allen and his wife Lisa, Joey Allen and his wife Debbie all of Culpeper and Alisa Chapella and her husband Joe of Lexington, South Carolina, Katie Allen and Rebecca Allen, both of Fredericksburg.
In addition to his father, Bobby is preceded in death by one brother, John E. Allen Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, August 24, 2012 with the Rev. Randy Albritton officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
