Riddick Whitney Green
Riddick Whitney Green 74 passed away on Friday January 23, 2009 at Prince William Hospital.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodbridge for 30 years. He worked as a bus driver for the Metro Transit Authority for 25 years retiring in the late 1990’s. He also enjoyed sports, and was a diehard Redskins fan.
Riddick was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty. Survivors include: a son Dan Green and his wife Kelly of Manassas VA. One daughter: Carol Arthur of Woodbridge VA. Five grandchildren, Jessica, James, Ruth, Ashlei and Misty. Other survivors include: numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday February 2, 2009 from 6:00-9:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Woodbridge, 13600 Minnieville Road, Woodbridge VA 22193. A funeral service will be held Tuesday February 3, 2009 at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Ray Bearden officiating. Interment will take place at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery 3401 Bladensburg Road, Brentwood MD 20722.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the First Baptist Church of Woodbridge Benevolence Fund,
