Ricky Brown's Obituary
Ricky Brown, 73, of Locust Grove, VA, died Friday, March 7, 2025, at his home. He was born December 11, 1951, to the late Russell and Georgia Brown.
Rick was Vice President for Fyne-Wire Specialties in Brandy Station, Va, a little over thirty years before retiring. Rick loved to fish, golf, and garden. He was a member of the Richmond Rose Society and Arlington Rose Foundation. He was a Master Gardener, Master Rosarian, and a distinguished judge for the American Rose Society, in which he won many awards for his collection of over 200 roses. Rick donated all of his roses to the Arlington Rose Foundation, and an auction will be held in his name in the spring. He was also a member of the Mustang Car Club, in which he won an award for Best Modern Mustang. He was a loving father and a friend to many. Rick was known as someone who had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. He will be missed by many.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Beaudet, and son-in-law, David Beaudet, and one sister, Judy Pugh, and many loved nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Brown, Sr., Russell “Jr.” Brown, and Raymond Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA, with Chaplain Jeff Krauss officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
