Richard E. Robinson Jr.'s Obituary
Richard E Robinson Jr, 51, of Culpeper, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, surrounded by family. He was born June 29, 1974, to the late Shirley Marie and Richard Edward, Sr.
Richard’s love for life and people was immeasurable. Richard never met a stranger. He made friends everywhere he went. He loved everything that involved his family. He enjoyed family Thanksgivings and cooking Sunday dinners for his family. He put his grandkids before everything and would help anyone who needed it.
Richard is survived by his wife Doris Ann; his kids Amber Leverknight, Travis Thompson, Lauren Sliger (Thomas “Dane”); grandchildren Ari’anna, Jayden, Julian, Travis Jr, Zoe, Bronston, Roselynn, Hazel, Hunter Aiken; his siblings Arlene Robinson Whitmer (William), Rebecca “Bheki” Robinson; several nieces and nephews; and a countless amount of extended family and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by his father Richard Edward Robinson, Sr and his mother Shirley Marie Robinson.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, August 8, 2025, at 12:00 pm at Salem Volunteer Fire & Rescue located at 13428 Scott’s Mill Rd, Culpeper. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
