Richard Hugh Oltz's Obituary
Richard Hugh Oltz, 74, of Ithaca, NY died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at his daughter’s residence in Amissville, VA. He was born August 11, 1942 in Ithaca, NY to the late John and Mildred Caple Oltz.
Mr. Oltz was a member of the Danby Volunteer Fire Dept., Flashing Feathers Bow Club and Danby Federated Church, all in Ithaca, NY. He loved the Danby community and served in many ways.
He is survived by two daughters, Susan Oltz and her husband, Tim, and Michelle Oltz Phalin and her husband, Michael; two grandchildren, Travis and Delia Phalin; and two siblings, Jack Oltz and Audrey Hardesty, both of Wilseyville, NY.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Bergman Oltz.
Services will be held in Ithaca, NY at a later date.
