Richard Lee Mozingo's Obituary
Richard Lee Mozingo, 80 of Culpeper, VA, died Friday, February 23, 2018 at his home. Born on October 14, 1937 in Culpeper, he was the son of the late Annie Roberta Mozingo and Harry Moffett Mozingo, Sr.
Mr. Mozingo served in the U.S. Navy from December 17, 1956 until December 16, 1960. He worked at Culpeper Stone and Rochester.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ruth Earle Mozingo; a granddaughter, Amber Rose Stevens; and three brothers, Lewis (Irene) of Rixeyville, George (Minnie) of Culpeper, and Harry, Jr. (Sheila) of Buckingham.
Besides his parents, Mr. Mozingo was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Faye Stevens; and two brothers, David and Thomas Mozingo.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joe Edwards officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, 4160 Rixeyville Road, Jeffersonton, Va.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
