Richard Henry Lewis, 58, passed away at his home, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. He was born on June 2, 1968, in Fauquier County, VA.
Richard was a devoted family man whose greatest joy in life was the time he spent with those he loved. Whether it was sharing stories, celebrating holidays, or simply enjoying everyday moments together, his family was always at the center of his heart.
A devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Richard rarely missed a game and could often be found cheering on his favorite team each football season. Win or lose, he remained a loyal fan and enjoyed sharing his passion for the Cowboys with family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Donna-Marie Minter, Atrivia Lewis, Dezare’e Lewis and Tamariah-Renee Lewis; his parents, George Robinson and Peggy Raymond; siblings, Nicole Lewis-Noakes and George Lewis, Sr.; grandchildren, Kyra Minter, Aniyah Wilson, Dakriee Lewis-Carter, Jaire Lewis, Amirykal Lewis, Kadeen Jenkins, Alayiah Lewis, Kai’Anna Jenkins and DeMarcus Lewis; son-in-law, Charles Jenkins; brother-in-law, Quintin Noakes; sister-in-law, Pamela Lewis; special friend, Steven Schank and Taye Lewis who is like a daughter.
A service will be held Friday, July 31, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 4487 Ebenezer Church Road, Midland, VA with Rev. Ronald Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 11:00 a.m.
Pallbearers serving the family will be John Johnson, Nehemiah Lee, Wesley Jenkins, George Lewis, Sr., Quintin Noakes and Steven Schrank.
