Richard Edwin “Boogie” Hitt 52, passed away on July 26, 2022, at his residence in Culpeper Virginia
He was born on December 27, 1969, in Virginia to his parents Margaret Rose Ramey And the late Richard Edward Hitt.
He loved the outdoors and fishing, with his family and friends. He loved a good Alan Jackson song after a long day of work.
He could be spotted at the top of a tree with a wonderful view of the world. He is survived by his sons, Eric Hitt and Ryan Hitt (Chelsea); his granddaughters, Adalene Hitt and Hazel Hitt; his siblings, Tinky Settle, Bubba Hitt (Amy), Penny Hitt (Doug), April Backe (John), and John Hitt. Also his long-time companion Amy Estes; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Hitt, his brother, Jason Hitt, and his niece, Kaley Backe.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
