Richard A. Faulkner's Obituary
Richard A. Faulkner, 55, of Castleton, died Monday, December 28, 2015 at his residence. He was born June 25, 1960 in Culpeper to the late Orville and Mary Grigsby Faulkner.
Richard was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed cleaning vehicles, loved working with horses and loved all his animals especially his dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Martha B. Harris-Faulkner; three children, Rhonda Foster and her husband, Michael of Madison, Greg Meredith of Page and Sharon Marks of Madison; and two siblings, William Faulkner of Fredericksburg and Ronnie Faulkner and his wife, Elaine of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include nine grandchildren, Michael Foster and his wife, Amber of Madison, Brittany Foster of Greene, Jeffery Foster of San Diego, CA, Gregory Meredith of Page, Gene Meredith of New Jersey, Kelsea Meredith of Page, Dana Layman of Madison, Amanda Faulk and her husband, Brad of Gordonsville and Meredith Marks of Madison; and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence Grigsby, Thomas Grigsby and Floyd Faulkner.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeff Light officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Foster, Gregory Meredith, Eric Rhymer, Jeffery Foster, Gene Meredith and Terry Robey.
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
