Richard Lewis Ashworth's Obituary
Richard Lewis Ashworth, 83, of Nokesville, died Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Center for Acute Hospice Care in Charlottesville. He was born November 25, 1933 in Danville, VA to the late Herman and Elizabeth Anderson Ashworth.
He was father to two daughters, Jan Cook Treague of Warrenton and Wendy Wiebe of Orange; ten grandchildren, Brandon Cook and his wife, Tracey of Newville, PA, Morgan Anderson and her husband, Alan of Norfolk, Brittany Cook of Front Royal, Amanda Cook of Remington, Courtney Cook of Fairfax, Austin Treague of Warrenton, Tyler Treague of Gainesville, Ethan Wiebe and his wife, Lurah of Nashville, and Anna Rose Wiebe of Orange, and Christian Wiebe of Orange; and twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Adkins Ashworth; his daughter, Jan Cook Treague; two siblings, Fleetwood Godfrey and Wales Ashworth; and one grandchild, Christian Wiebe.
Services will be private with burial at Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
