Rhoda Lambert
Rhoda Alice Lambert, 83, of Spotsylvania County, Virginia, died Saturday, December 13, 2008 at the Bowling Green Health Care Center in Bowling Green, Virginia. Mrs. Lambert was an accomplished seamstress and was well known in the area for her creative talents.
She is survived by two daughters, Janie Lambert Cowger of Ormond Beach, Florida and Sharon Lambert Raines of Fredericksburg; one son, Kenneth D. Lambert of Warrenton; and one sister, Virginia Francis of Port Orange, Florida. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jacob I. Lambert and two sons, Larry D. Lambert and David D. Lambert.
A memorial service will be held at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Fredericksburg, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, VA on Saturday, January 10 at 2:00 pm, with John Woodward officiating. The family will receive friends one hour to the service.
