Rena W. Withers' Obituary
Rena W. Withers, beloved mother and faithful friend and role model for all she met, went to meet her maker on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Paul Limerick Jr.; and many brothers and sisters. She is survived by a brother, Bill Wilson of Garland, Texas; a sister, Tempi Ann Calhoun of Corpus Christi, Texas; a daughter, Rickie Withers Newton and husband Glenn; three sons, Raymond Withers III and wife Wanda, Robert Withers and wife Brenda and Ronald Withers and wife Joey; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Fredericksburg Baptist Church for more than 60 years, and she served as a deacon and sang in the choir for more than 40 years. She will be sorely missed.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, in the dining room of Fredericksburg Elks Lodge 875, 11309 Tidewater Trail. A private ceremony will be held preceding cremation.
