My husband, Bill, and I travelled several times with Reita through Shillelagh. We loved her and her sense of humor and her sense of adventure. We always knew that we would have enjoyable times with Reita. She was so knowledgeable and loved to laugh. She even laughed at my husband's corny jokes. She was such a good sport. We loved her.
My husband passed away on July 21. So I was really saddened to see Reita's obituary in the paper. Grief upon grief. She talked about her family and all the wonderful life experiences she had had. She shared her concerns about health issues.
My mom died many years ago but I still hold wonderful memories that sometimes bring tears of loss. It is a good thing to have those memories.
