Rebecca Jean Houston's Obituary
Rebecca Jean Houston, 53, of Elkwood, died Friday, September 7, 2007 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. She was born March 23, 1954 in Washington, DC to the late Charles Robert Six and the late Rosemary Endicott Six.
She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. Becky worked at Jefferson National Bank for 10 years and most recentley worked at Second Bank and Trust for the past 5 years.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, William Gerry Houston, her children; Mendy and Benji Woodward and their son, Logan of Rixeyville, Janet and David Myers and their sons, Bryant and Chase of Brandy Station, Mike and Tiffany Houston of Culpeper and Teresa Keys.
She is also survived by two brothers, Bill Six and his wife, Sue of Waldorf, MD, Chuck Six and his wife, Linda of TX and one sister, Pricilla Cobbs and her husband, John of Colorado Springs, CO.
Additional survivors include one special friend, Beverly Minor and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 10, 2007 from 6 - 8 pm at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 11 am at First Century Baptist Church in Batna with the Rev. Lee Brown and Rev. Vinton Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 19, Brandy Station, VA 22714.
