Long ago there there were a man and a woman who came together to blend there
families together. Their children Sharon, Tom, Gary and Bec and Tammie.
Times were tough, and the girls shared a room. Bec was 9 and I was almost 17 and
we shared this room for only a year and half because I graduated and started working
and moved out on my own. Even though we had a age difference , she and I had
a bond from the beginning.
When she became a teenager, and I had married and had my first child, she came and
spent a summer with me and watched my Wendi, the first grandchild in the family.
She loved the idea, because she could have her boyfriend come over and
felt a sense freedom and I never told secrets. To this day I have secrets I never
have shared and will keep them with me always.
Then as time went on, she married and moved away and I had a second child and
divorced and keep on living my life raising my children Wendi and Christina. One day
she called me at work and was very sad, her marriage was breaking up and she needed
to talk and have some love and support, I told her she had to make the decision about
staying in Dallas or coming home. She decided to come home and she came to live with
me and my daughters and we stayed together for 5 years. It was the best 5 years with
her , we laughed , cried, vacationed together, did crazy stuff together , shared our intermost secrects and hopes. We new each other so well.
She became a mother and friend to my children and continued being nurturing to all
of her neices and nephews.
Carl came into her life and they had their two boys and life was complete for her,
she never thought she could have children and was totally devoted to Adam and
Ben.
Through hardships and joys she and Carl continue to show all of us what true devotion and love are .
In the last days of her life he soo loveingly took care of her and she wanted for nothing.
We as family will miss her forever, she was such a wonderful human being and sister.
She gave love so freely.
I will miss the bawdy jokes, those brown eyes and of course that heavenly smile.
Till we meet again dear sweet sister
Sharon
