Rebecca Sue Burrell's Obituary
Rebecca Sue Burrell, 63, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2021 at her residence. Rebecca was born January 22, 1958 in Manassas, VA to the late John James Creel and Helen Ree Creel.
Rebecca was a caring woman and was always eager to lend a hand to help out people. Rebecca worked part time at the Baptist home now, The Culpeper. She also worked with the local foster child care here in Culpeper, and did missionary work under the late Billy Scott. Rebecca had a great love for animals, which is a big part of our family, especially her chihuahua, Ziggy, and her three cats.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Paul Edward Burrell; one son, John A. Burrell; one nephew, Darryl Creel; her God daughter, Lisa Roy (Daniel); close friends, Lisa and Jimmy Sowers, and Ron Minifield; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Rebecca is preceded in death by three children, Jason, Helena Michelle, and Robin Ree Burrell; and two brothers, John Creel and Joe Creel.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, VA. The family would like to invite those unable to attend to join livestream https://view.oneroomstreaming.com/authorise.php?k=1641613133158319
Due to Covid-19, masks are required to enter the building.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be held privately at Fairview Cemetery at a later date.
