Dr. Raymond Charles Kasper, Jr.'s Obituary
A man of many talents, Dr. Raymond C. Kasper, 95, of Fredericksburg, VA left for his Heavenly home on Monday, June 6, 2016.
Ray Kasper was a kind, intelligent man with a compassion for humanity. His love for the written word compelled him to read and write with an insatiable hunger. Always wanting to know about any and everything, the world as a whole held his attention.
Ray was born in Chicago, IL on February 9, 1921 and was raised by Raymond C. Kasper, Sr. and Alma Aleckson Kasper. He graduated from Roald Amundsen High School and furthered his education at Queens Premier College in Vancouver, BC where he received his Ph. D. and Doctorate of Divine Law.
During his inspirational lifetime, Ray served the world as an agent of the OSS during World War II, an author, evangelist/pastor, missionary, Numerologist, playwright/director, newspaper reporter/editor, radio station news director, free-lance photographer, and numerous others.
Ray was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Betty Henderson Kasper; two sons, Christopher Charles and wife, Natalie, and Gregory Marc and wife, Linette; and two grandchildren, Chloe and Logan.
A celebration of Dr. Kasper’s life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Salem Fields Community Church, 11120 Gordon Road, Fredericksburg.
