Grandpop Heflin was such a sweet man. I am so glad to be able.to call him grandpop. I know things will never be the same. I heard a song on the radio called When I Get Where I'm Going. ... and there is a part where he sings about seeing his grandad again and I cry because I can't wait to get to heaven to see him again..... but at the same time I can imagine grandpop is up there hugging his grandpop right now. And that helps me not to be so sad because he is loved on earth and in heaven and surrounded always by ones he loves!! I love you grandma and will always be proud to call you that!
Susan, I was sorry to hear about your dad. I never met him, but I know that he was a good man, since he raised such a kind, caring and intelligent woman.
