Raymond Burke's Obituary
Raymond J. Burke, 79, of Spotsylvania County passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at his home.
Raymond was born September 15, 1932 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to the late Beatrice and Francis Burke, Sr.
Raymond is survived by his special friend and caretaker, Richard Coffman; two brothers, Francis Burke, Jr. of Rhode Island and Bertram Burke of North Carolina; a sister, Carol Burbach of Nebraska and his extended family in Virginia.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by two sisters, Beatrice McGuiness and Delores Burke.
Raymond’s family will receive friends Monday, March 5, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church, 10725 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg. Burial will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Raymond’s family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Mary Washington Home Health & Hospice, 5012 Southpoint Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
