Raymond Lee Brown's Obituary
Pastor Lee Brown went home to be with his Lord & Savior on May 1, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 22, 1943, in Culpeper, VA, to the late Willie C. Brown and Lillian M. Brown.
He was devoted to his family. A loving husband, he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and unwavering commitment with his beloved wife. He was a proud and caring father, grandfather, and great-grandfather whose love and guidance will continue to live on through the generations he cherished so deeply.
He was the Pastor at First Century Baptist Church for eighteen years. Before that, he served as the Assistant Pastor. His heart desired to serve the Lord and live for him. He had a burden to witness for the Lord and seeing souls saved. He always said he was a blessed Pastor for the best congregation that God gave him.
He touched so many lives through the ministry. To know him was to love him, and those who were blessed to have him in their lives will forever be grateful. He was truly one of a kind.
Pastor Brown is survived by his dedicated loving wife of 59 years, Margaret; a son, Raymond Brown, Jr. (Angie) and daughter, Sandy Bright; grandchildren, Brittany Fincham (Lee), Carrie Brown (Andreas), Leeann Bright, Jacob Brown ( Haley), Abby Sprouse ( Dylan) and Andrew Brown; great-grandchildren; Paisley Fincham, William Fincham and Blakely Sprouse; siblings; Irene Wright, Williams Brown (Norma) and Charles Brown (Gail) nieces and nephews.
