Raymond Stanley Atkisson's Obituary
Raymond “Stanley” Atkisson, 78, of Orange, passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday, November 6, 2023 at Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation. He was born February 8, 1945 in Illinois to the late John and Wanda Atkisson.
Raymond loved car shows, hotrods and spending time with his buddies. He enjoyed playing Santa for all the kids in his family.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Brenda Atkisson; four children, David Atkisson (Gina), Joanna Starke, Nicholas Harris (Kelley), and Michael Harris Sanson; six grandchildren, Gunnar, Christa,Charlie, Elizabeth, Harlen, and Gracie; three great grandchildren; five siblings, John, Linda, Gary, Dwayne, and Ginger; and numerous nieces and nephews that all loved him dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper with Pastor Gregg Payne officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
