Ray Eugene Wentz's Obituary
Ray Eugene Wentz, age 91, passed away Monday, December 1, 2025 at his residence. He was born on January 11, 1934 to the late Jacob Clyde and Hazel Wentz.
A devoted outdoorsman, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life—tending to his garden, casting a line on a quiet morning, and engaging in friendly games of darts. He had a gift for storytelling, often sharing tales of the challenges he overcame and the lessons those moments taught him. His stories inspired many, reminding others that strength and resilience can carry us through even the hardest times.
To his community and to many friends, he was a father figure, offering guidance, encouragement, and a strong work ethic that shaped and supported those lucky enough to know him. A generous spirit, he was always willing to help someone in need, never seeking recognition for the kindness he offered so freely.
In the early 1970s, he courageously founded his own business, which he successfully operated until his retirement in 2004. His dedication and entrepreneurial spirit remain an inspiration to all who knew his story. He was a member of the Lions Club, his church, and the Masonic Lodge—organizations where he poured his time and heart into service.
May he rest in peace, knowing his life made a difference.
