Randolph Woodward's Obituary
Randolph Woodward, 75, of Castleton, VA passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Center for Acute Hospice Care in Charlottesville. He was born August 10, 1948 to the late Elwood and Mary Woodward.
Randolph was a farmer all his life. He loved bluegrass music and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Brenda Sue Woodward; children, Benjamin Woodward (Tracy) and Amy Willoughby (Josh); six grandchildren, Faith Willoughby, Gracie Willoughby, Aubrey Willoughby, Graham Willoughby, Logan Woodward, and Brayden Woodward; two step-grandchildren, Brooklyn Grimsley and Kaitlyn Grimsley; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Randolph is preceded in death by his siblings, Shirley Settle and Jerry Woodward; brother-in-law, Billy Settle; and sister-in-law, Patsy Woodward.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, 4160 Rixeyville Road, Jeffersonton, VA 22724, with Pastor Wayne Chapman officiating and Randy Sheads reading the eulogy. Pallbearers serving the family will be Josh Willoughby, Andrew Settle, Zane Whorton, Greg Freeman, Mel Compton, and Billy Whorton. Honorary pallbearers are Billy Singleton, Lindsay Schaff, Jack Hawkins, Ronnie Whorton, and Jackie Myers.
