Randall Lee Hopkins' Obituary
Randall “Randy” Lee Hopkins, 62, of Culpeper, VA, passed away peacefully in his home on October 8, 2024, amid his family. Randy was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend.
Randy was known for, and proud of, his outlaw ways. He rebelled against convention and lived
life on his own terms. He was a welder by trade, but a man of many talents. His passions were motorcycles, cars, music, and the outdoors. He was a hard worker his whole life, with always a next project in mind.
Spending time with Randy was always an adventure. From camping on Chincoteague, fishing on the banks of the Shenandoah, or swimming in the Bull Run River, he loved being in nature. He enjoyed seeing the small outdoor creatures he would run into on his daily journeys. He also took notice of those most often forgotten, giving his time and heart to others less fortunate.
Randy enjoyed reading about history and the Civil War and often said he was born in the wrong century. He had hopes for his next motorcycle ride on the bike he was building. He loved playing his guitars and dobro with a glass of moonshine in his very own “Stumble Inn.” He lived a unique life, always playing by his own rules.
A celebration of life will be scheduled at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
An online guestbook and tribute wall are available at www.foundandsons.com
Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is serving the family.
